Waldron Engineering, Inc., was founded in 1992 by Terence Waldron, Cedric Chan, John Sweet and James Morrissey.

The team quickly built a strong reputation providing consulting and engineering services to the fast-growing merchant power industry. This early work laid the foundation for a broader array of services to eventually include the design of energy generation and distribution infrastructures tailored to the specific needs of a diverse client base. In 1998, the management team added another dimension to Waldron’s capabilities with the formation of Waldron Construction, LLC. The addition of equipment procurement and construction management services enabled Waldron to provide complete turnkey project solutions to clients. In 2005, these two companies were combined to form Waldron Engineering & Construction, Inc., a single point of contact for Waldron’s entire array of engineering and construction management services. From the start, the core management team has remained with the company, guiding the growing firm in the successful execution of over 875 projects for over 300 clients to date. Waldron has ventured into the renewable energy world by executing projects utilizing Organic Rankine Cycle, Wave Hydrokinetics, Biomass, and Compressed Air Energy System Technologies. Waldron’s multi-disciplinary team provides expertise through all phases of energy generation and distribution projects, including conceptual phase studies, design, final commissioning and testing. Waldron’s primary business line is providing professional engineering consulting and design services to the private power industry. The company has amassed significant experience in cogeneration and industrial power projects across North America, Central and South America, Indonesia and the Caribbean, utilizing fuels ranging from biogases to natural gas. Waldron provides services to professionals in the power industry including developers, thermal hosts, investors, lending institutions, utilities, and contractors. Our services are also provided to owners of power projects to optimize existing facility performance and profitability."
