Friday, May 3, 2013

Waldron Engineering and Construction, Inc. won the CMAA – Construction Management Association of America – Program Management/Program Phase Achievement Award on  April 23, 2013. The award is for Waldron’s contribution to the three-tiered project for UMass Facilities. Upgrades and improvements were made to the Albert Sherman Center, Plantation Street Parking Garage and UMass Medical Power Plant, the latter being Waldron’s piece of the project. The power plant provides electricity, steam and chilled water to the 550,000 square foot Sherman Center. Waldron is proud to be part of the teams that worked together to make these three projects a singular success.

It should also be noted that as a special consideration this year the CMAA -New England Chapter made a donation on behalf of the CMAA-NE constituents to The One Fund to assist victims of the April 15, 2013 Boston bombing and their loved ones.
